Arbitration & Adjudication: His experience extends to alternative dispute resolution mechanisms, having been involved in arbitration proceedings pursuant to the Asian International Arbitration Centre (AIAC) arbitration rules and adjudication proceedings pursuant to the Construction Industry Payment and Adjudication Act (CIPAA) 2012.

Tan Hwe-ming

Prior to her appointment at Messrs Ng Law Firm, she was a Senior Associate at Messrs Zaid Ibrahim & Co. (Malaysia’s biggest law firm), advising on Debt Recovery and Banking Litigation matters. Her earlier professional development included the successful completion of a mini-pupillage with Queen Square Chambers in Bristol, United Kingdom, as well as marshalling with His Honour Judge Nicholas Marston and Dr Fiona Wilcox, a Senior Coroner in London. She has also interned with various other legal firms such as Messrs Azmi & Associates, Messrs Ariff Rozhan & Co., and Messrs Rajah & Tann LLP (Singapore), thereby accruing substantive experience across diverse facets of legal practice both within the local jurisdiction and the broader regional context.

Gan Yen Yen commenced her legal career as a chambering student at Messrs Winston Ng & Teoh, a distinguished law firm based in Penang. Following her call to the Bar, she has worked on cases in Property Management Disputes, Debt Recovery and General Commercial Disputes. Subsequently, at Ng Law Firm, she has developed a specialised focus in property and transactional law, particularly within the industrial sector and Intellecutal Property.
