Tan Jie En
Tan Jie En is a qualified Barrister-at-law, called to the English & Welsh Bar and an advocate & solicitor in Malaysia, with extensive experience in banking & finance, real estate, conveyancing, probate and estate administration. She previously worked as a Legal Assistant at Wong – Chooi & Mohd. Nor and holds a degree from the University of Sheffield.
With years of successful business experiences, she is being appointed as an independent director at EG Industries Berhad.
Known for her meticulous attention to detail, Tan Jie En is committed to ensuring that all legal matters are handled with the utmost care and precision. Her ability to analyze complex legal documents and identify potential issues allows her to provide her clients with comprehensive and reliable advice. She is fluent in written and spoken Mandarin, English, and Malay. She is also able to converse in Hokkien and Teochew.
Ng Sze Hui
Ng Sze Hui graduated from the London School of Economics (LSE) with an LLB Bachelor of Law. She then completed her LLM and Bar Professional Training Course at City Law School, University of London with Very Competent (VC).
As a qualified Bartister-at-law called to the English & Welsh Bar and an advocate & solicitor in Malaysia, she currently sits on the Youth Federation of Malaysian Manufacturers (FMM) committee. Prior to this, she was in Wong & Partners, a member firm of Baker McKenzie International and Azmi & Associates.
She has been involved in a range of corporate and commercial matters. She participated in several M&A transactions and due diligence exercises which included the largest M&A deal in Asia in 2020. She has advised on the licensing and equity requirements for education, automotive, manufacturing, healthcare and oil & gas industries.
Her work usually includes drafting and reviewing different agreements or policies in respect to employment matters, manufacturing, services, privacy, non-disclosure, marketing, confidentiality, non-competition and many others. She has also successfully handled the IPO for UMediC Group Berhad.
She is fluent in written and spoken Mandarin, English and Malay. She can also converse in Hokkien.
Gan Yen Yen
Gan Yen Yen earned her Law degree from the esteemed Northern University of Malaysia (UUM). Following this, she joined Messrs Winston Ng & Teoh, a distinguished law firm based in Penang, as a chambering student.
She was called to the bar and subsequently practiced with the firm. During this time, she gained valuable experience in a wide range of legal matters, including employment, property management, debt recovery, commercial litigation and construction litigation. Her exposure to these complex and challenging cases has honed her legal skills and cemented her passion for the law. She also assists with intellectual property matters such as trademark applications, trademark infringement suits etc.
She now serves as the Penang Bar Sports Subcommittee Member for 2023-2024. She also serves as a Graphic Designer in Voix D’Advocat Penang Bar Law Magazine Publication Team.
She is fluent in both written and spoken English and Malay. She can also converse in Mandarin and Hokkien.
Chong Siau Fong
Chong Siau Fong graduated with a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) from the prestigious University of Malaya in 2019. She was then admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in 2020.
Prior to joining Ng Law Firm, she was attached to Messrs. Zaid Ibrahim & Co. (in association with KPMG Law), one of Malaysia’s leading full-service law firms. In recognition of her dedication and years of experience, she has progressed from being a trainee associate to a senior associate.
Siau Fong’s main practice area is Dispute Resolution, handling a wide array of general civil litigation matters, including contractual disputes, tenancy disputes, industrial relations, and employment law matters. She also actively appears as both counsel and co-counsel in various contentious court proceedings across all levels of the Malaysian courts.
Her practice also extends to a diverse range of areas, including banking litigation, debt recovery, bankruptcy or insolvency matters, probate and administration of estates, family and matrimonial disputes, distress action, and foreclosure proceedings.
Siau Fong is also conversant in English, Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin, and Hokkien.
Her commitment lies in providing clients with practical and cost-effective legal solutions, reflecting her client-centric approach and commitment to excellence in the field of law.
Nor Amirah Binti Radzali
Amirah has graduated with a Bachelor of Fiqh and Fatwa with Honours from the Faculty of Shariah and Law at Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia (USIM).
Nor Amirah’s legal journey began at Tetuan Ahmad Nawawi & Associates, a distinguished Shariah Law Firm. During this pivotal period, she honed her skills and garnered invaluable experience in an array of Shariah and Law matters.
Currently, her responsibilities in Messers Ng Law Firm encompass the preparation of legal documents, ranging from general litigation to intellectual property and conveyancing. Nor Amirah assumes a central role in file administration, maintaining correspondences, and organizing documents in a systematic filing system for clients, where she contributes to the daily operations of the office.
She also helps with conducting legal research to add depth to the firm’s capabilities, allowing it to stay abreast of legal developments and precedents.
Fluent in both English and Malay, Nor Amirah possesses the linguistic prowess to engage effectively in the diverse and complex world of law.
